  • About Cedar Grove

    The nature inspired and imaginatively designed Cedar Grove restaurant and bar has transformed the former DISH Cedar Springs space into a modern forest featuring a farm-to-table menu created by award-winning Executive Chef Taylor Kearney and a selection of unique libations from Beverage Director and noted mixologist Trevor Landry.

    Cedar Grove’s polished casual approach appeals to those who crave high-quality sips and savory plates at favorable prices in an original atmosphere. Everything on the menu is under $25 – think casual dining with dynamic dishes featuring sharable plates under Snacks, sandwiches and flatbreads under Breads and Buns, entrees under Large Plates, and Sweets.

    Notable dinner menu items include

    • Charred Okra with yuzu salt and lemon, Chef Kearney’s signature Meat and Cheese Plate with cured meats, local cheese, toast, and compote
       
    • Crab & Arugula Flatbread with lump crab meat, arugula, pecorino and lemonette
       
    • The Grovey Burger with maitake, port salut, romaine, and heirloom tomato
       
    • Alaskan Salmon with local squash, benne seed, and black garlic dashi
       
    • Marinated Hanger Steak Frites with roasted pearl onion jam, blistered tomato butter, and kennebec fries

  • Unique cocktail items including punches serving 5-8 people make group dinners exciting and fun at Cedar Grove. The Adult Lemonade Stand includes a choice of deep eddy grapefruit, peach, or signature vodka with cucumber infused lemonade and rosemary infused sweet tea, or the Berry Watermelon Bourbon Crush has fresh watermelon and blackberry, mint, honey-syrup, bird dog blackberry whiskey, and prosecco. Adult snow cones are also a unique feature and make adulting in Dallas a refreshing, sweet treat. The Lemondrop features deep eddy lemon vodka, blue curacao, lemongrass syrup, and is topped with sour patch kids, while the Crushed Caipirinha is a combination of ypiocha cachaça, licor 43, key lime syrup, citrus, and candied syrup.

    A weekend in Dallas isn’t complete without a visit to Cedar Grove for brunch. Delicious menu options include Country to Coast Benedict, English muffin with lobster hollandaise, country ham, poached eggs, and potato hash, or for the sweet tooth a Nutella Belgian Waffle with strawberry, whipped cream, and chocolate crunch. Playing on the sharing concept, elevated punches served at brunch are designed for groups of four to eight, such as the Adult Lemonade Stand,made with a choice of deep eddy peach, grapefruit, or signature vodka, served with cucumber infused lemonade and rosemary infused sweet tea. If sharing isn’t your thing, try an adult snow cone such as the Lemondrop, deep eddy lemon vodka, blue curacao, lemongrass syrup, and sour patch kids.

The name Cedar Grove captures our location, the nature-inspired interior design and the outstanding and approachable farm-to-table culinary menu created by Chef Kearney.   • As guests approach Cedar Grove from Cedar Springs Road, the fresh cedar planks encasing the building begin to set the nature-themed design. The expansive 6,000 square foot space, with seating for 212 guests, is designed to bring “the outdoors in,” featuring a grove of twenty-four modern, stylized trees standing over twelve feet tall among the dining tables and reflected in the floor to ceiling mirrors. The whimsical ambience is further elevated by the refreshing scent from the cedar planks lining the walls and ceiling along the entryway and enclosed patio.

    The 360-degree bar, with seating for sixteen, is inlaid with green ceramic tiles to create a leaf pattern. Cedar Grove’s design was a collaboration between renowned architect Jonathan Bailey and Dallas-based Coeval Studio.

    Cedar Grove is open seven days a week at 3:00pm with dinner service starting at 4:00pm. Saturday and Sunday brunch is available from 10:00am – 4:00pm.
